Our calendar for 2013 is filling up! Check out the exciting array of Chapter activities already on tap for spring, then sign up so you don't miss out... On March 1st forty-eight skiers and boarders braved an early morning start and headed north to the White Mountains in search of powder skiing. And this year, they found it! A rapt audience enjoyed polished presentations by distinguished speakers who were central to the development of recently-published ISPE documents on this critically important topic. A recent gathering sponsored by The Boston Foundation provided an excellent opportunity for Chapter leaders to meet key players from local industry and the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center and pave the way for future collaboration. The Chapter is actively investing time, effort and funding in students, our “pipeline to the future,” with several special activities to be held this spring - including educational programs, plant tours, and career development events. The YP’s kicked off the spring season with their first (and hopefully annual) social event at the Medieval Manor in Boston – a “one-of-a-kind” gathering where everyone feasted on a six-course meal without fork, knife, or spoon! News items concerning companies in the pharma, biotech, medical device and related fields, with an emphasis on companies with a local presence and topics of special interest to Members...
A summary of recent actions by the FDA (and other regulatory agencies and governmental bodies) with the potential to impact the pharma, biotech and device industries, and related fields...
