The spring and summer calendar is already filled with an exciting array of Chapter activities designed to sharpen the mind and renew the spirit... This highly anticipated educational program was the result of a unique collaboration between the Boston Area Chapter, ISPE International and the ISPE Critical Utilities Community of Practice (COP)... The Chapter recently took its membership drive on the road to Biogen Idec in Kendall Square where we welcomed over a dozen new members to ISPE. Up next? Genzyme in Framingham... WPI's Campus Center was the site for this year's competition where students presented their research before a panel of judges. Congratulations to winners Noreen Rizvi and Daniel Shea, both of Northeastern... The large turnout for this program - including many non-members and Members of neighboring ISPE Chapters - highlights the importance of this topic within our industry... The spring 2012 CPIP Study Group, again hosted by Genzyme in Framingham, is our largest ever with nearly 50 participants. Hopes are high for a bumper crop of CPIP's from Boston this year! It's been a busy few months for collaboration with other Chapter committees to create an exciting series of YP events, both educational and social... News items concerning companies in the pharma, biotech, medical device and related fields, with an emphasis on companies with a local presence and topics of special interest to Members...
