The Boston local GAMP Community of Practice (CoP) is the first local CoP to exist inside the ISPE Chapters. The objective of the local chapter CoPs is to reflect the Affiliate local CoPs in Europe and provide a network for regulated Computer System experts and novices (in disciplines such as Computer System Validation and Data Integrity).
Liaising closely with both the local Boston Area Chapter, and the GAMP Americas Steering Committee, the Boston GAMP local CoP will provide opportunities to share information and updates from GAMP and form a friendly group of regulated data geeks with a common interest in quality data generation supporting the Life Science industries in the Boston Area. Reflecting the goals of the entire ISPE GAMP CoP, the Boston GAMP CoP will continually strive to enhance patient safety by proving education and guidance with a focus on protecting and maintaining Data Integrity.
Official events, in partnership with the Boston Education Program, will be hosted physically, providing interactive face-to-face education. Through the ISPE regulatory team, speakers from the FDA will be invited to speak on GAMP related topics. Informal meet-up types of events will be hosted a couple of times a year, as well as at the annual Boston Product Show.
Volunteering in the GAMP Boston steering committee may also connect you to an international group of GAMPers, including the leadership committees and the authors of guides such as GAMP 5 second edition. There will also be opportunities to contribute to GAMP guides and GPGs via the GAMP Editorial Review Board.
All we ask from general members is to support our local events with your attendance and/or promoting our events in social media or any other channel you can find and to protect the ISPE GAMP brand with vigilance for any improper use of GAMP materials, guides, or presentations.
