Another New Chapter Board Member Joins the Team: Stephen Kerr

The results are in and the new ISPE Boston Board Members have been chosen! We asked all of them some interview questions so that you could get to know them better! 

1. What do you currently do?

I’m currently a Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and the Associate Provost for Academic and International Affairs at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), Boston.

2. How long have you been in the industry?

I have been in Academia for about 28 years, since the start of my career.

3. How has your time as an ISPE member benefitted you?

My membership and association with ISPE has definitely helped me as an educator and more importantly has tremendously benefitted my students.

4. What led you to become an ISPE Board Member?

To learn more about the what the Chapter does and get more involved with the Association. Moreover, as a faculty advisor to the MCPHS student chapter, it allows me to better understand all the benefits for the my student members .

5. What are you most looking forward to in your new role as Board Member?

Working with the Student Development Committee and making new connections with the industry.

6. What is your favorite ISPE event that you’ve been involved with?

Student Career Fair.

7. What do you like to do when you are not working?

Traveling and visiting family and friends.
