Guest Speaker:
Caren Jenkins is an experienced business development professional. Her professional “superpower” is that of being a connector. She enjoys talking with prospective new clients, learning about each company, why they exist, their goals and then finding ways to help them. Caren has built strong relationships and networks with key thought leaders and centers of influence in the Boston/New England area. Nine years ago, Caren made a career change and started her career within the life science industry, at that time she began her membership with ISPE Boston Chapter. During her tenure, she has worked on the ISPE Boston product show committee, she is part of the WIP leadership team which started the WIP Boston committee 2 years ago, she chairs the communications committee, and is a member of the ISPE Boston Board of Directors. Caren credits much of her professional success to the opportunities ISPE Boston has provided. ISPE Boston has allowed her to get actively involved with the industry, meet life science professionals, and continuously educate herself on the latest industry trends and issues. Caren views network development as a marathon scavenger hunt. She continuously invests time and effort into meeting new people or reconnecting with old friends to learn about their needs. She is constantly listening to see where she can provide value.
Caren is a part
of the business development team at CRB Boston office. She is responsible for
generating new business opportunities and growing CRBs client base by
strengthening existing relationships. During COVID she has explored many ways
of beating the isolation blues, including practicing yoga, learning to playing
the ukulele, trying to improve her golf swing, rescuing a new puppy, and is
currently planning their next get away to Costa Rica.
