2023 Summer Golf at Kernwood!

On Monday, August 21st, ISPE Members and guests gathered at the beautiful Kernwood Country Club in Salem, MA for our annual Summer Golf Tournament. The 32 foursomes playing were treated to a sunny 83 degree day. Before they hit the green everyone chatted over a tasty barbecue lunch. Starting in the scramble format, the foursomes got to soak up the sun with a cooling breeze that blew throughout the course. The breeze didn’t stop anyone from trying their hand at the putting contest, many cheering and laughing as they did. The day concluded with a buffet dinner back in the clubhouse, where tournament, contest hole, and raffle winners were announced!

Our overall tournament winners were:
First Place: Herbie Aiken, Sherwood Butler, Greg Lewis and David Surette
Second Place: Robert Melchionda, JP Norden, Patrick Schmidt and Rich Trabucco
Third Place: Kyle Abbott, Mike Comtois, Derrick Goodwin and Chad Keyworth

Our contest hole winners were:
Closest to the pin (Women): Quy Vu at 7′ 2″
Closest to the pin (Men): Jim Reeks 2″
Straightest Drive (Women): Brooke Cote
Straightest Drive (Men): JP Norden
Longest Drive (Women): Liz Cornish
Longest Drive (Men): Nate Ginsberg
Putting Contest: Chris Keeley
