A wet but fun day at the Summer Golf Tournament

Two weeks ago, on Monday, August 22nd, ISPE Members and guests gathered at the beautiful Kernwood Country Club in Salem, MA for our annual Summer Golf Tournament. We had 32 foursomes playing, and sold out within 3 hours of launching registration! Despite the very wet weather, our teams had fun catching up with each other. The day began with a yummy barbecue lunch, then our golfers headed off to play a scramble format tournament, despite a consistent drizzle. As the afternoon went on, our groups stuck it out through the pouring rain, making winning drives at contest holes, and taking a shot at the putting contest. The day concluded with a buffet dinner back in the clubhouse, where tournament, contest hole, and raffle winners were announced!

Our overall tournament winners were:
First Place: Justin Billings, Sean Lawton, and Shane Nolan
Second Place: Rich Trabucco, Andrew Colameta, Harry Schofield, and Nico Sinopli
Third Place: CJ Coy, Mike Karli, and Dan Hackett

Our contest hole winners were:
Closest to the pin (Women at hole 9): Amy Gusky with 7 feet, 3 inches
Closest to the pin (Men at hole 17): Dan Hackett with 37 inches
Straightest Drive (Women at hole 2): Brooke Cote
Straightest Drive (Men at hole 2): Kevin Boudreau
Longest Drive (Women at hole 13): Jordan Biggar
Longest Drive (Men at hole 13): Ron Smith
Putting Contest: Harry Schofield
