Free Info Session for Professional Science Master’s (PSM) in Biotechnology at FSU

Are you thinking of expanding your professional education with a Master’s Degree? If so, you are invited to attend a free information session to learn more about Framingham State University’s Professional Science Master’s (PSM) Degree in Biotechnology and Quality Assurance. The session will take place Thursday, March 23, 5:00-6:30pm at the Hemenway Annex Building, Room 534, 100 State Street, Framingham MA 01701.

Given the rapid growth of the biopharmaceutical industry in Massachusetts, our region is quickly becoming the epicenter of biotechnology discovery and commercialization in the US and the World.  The PSM program draws on experienced faculty members from multiple departments and highly motivated industry professionals to teach and demonstrate the specialized skills required for success in the biopharmaceutical industry.  Most of the courses, laboratory and software training are team taught and led by faculty members with guest lecturers from the industry.

This unique teaching format allows our students to be mentored by experienced leaders and credentialed faculty, learn cutting edge technology, understand the process of manufacturing engineering, apply regulatory guidelines, and build a successful team environment within their organizations.  Furthermore, the program has a capstone requirement of learning through a practical industry internship or a thesis project relating to current employment.

Our evening graduate degree program offers flexibility for working professionals who wish to improve their scientific and regulatory knowledge in biotechnology.  For individuals who just want to improve their working knowledge of Quality Assurance, our QA certificate program encompassing five courses is an option.  For professionals in other fields who want to learn more through auditing a course, any one of our classes can provide a new perspective and valuable industry networking opportunities.  If your current career growth can be further enhanced with a graduate degree or certificate in Quality Assurance, we would welcome you and your colleagues to join our program.
